Myrtlewood and Engelmann Spruce

$295.00

This is my 33" pineapple shape dulcimer. It is 8" wide, with a 25.5" VSL. The soundboard is Engelmann spruce, which I think has an extra nice sound.  The back and sides are Myrtlewood, which grows in Oregon and northern California. This wood is more expensive than other wood I normally use, but I like the look and it has a very nice finish.  The fretboard is cherry with Padauk dots for fret markers. It has gold frets and black tuners.

Frets - There are 15 frets, plus a 1.5, 6.5, and 8.5.

Special note:  If you want a different instrument with this wood, I have enough to make an hourglass shape.
